October 2026 — Release — Stephen W Tayler — Stephen W Tayler has created new stereo, 5.1 Surround Sound and Dolby Atmos mixes of Genesis’ 1969 debut album, From Genesis to Revelation, for a major new edition to be released by Cherry Red/Esoteric on 9 October 2026. Stephen’s new mixes revisit the album with a greater focus on the band’s performances. He has also remixed “A Winter’s Tale” and “One Eyed Hound”, the album out-takes “Image Blown Out” and the previously unreleased “Visions of Angels”, together with four previously unreleased demos from 1968. Prepared with the approval of original members Tony Banks, Peter Gabriel, Anthony Phillips and Mike Rutherford, the album will be issued as a deluxe 4CD/Blu-ray box set, alongside 2CD and double-vinyl editions. The deluxe set includes Stephen’s new stereo, 5.1 and Dolby Atmos mixes, rare recordings and demos, together with filmed discussions with Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford at AIR Studios.
May – July 2026 — INSTALLATION — SADIA SADIA — Sadia Sadia’s three-channel video installation …and falling, fulling blooming (The Sacred Ground) I–III was presented at Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello, Venice, as part of United Media Artists’ Anima Mundi programme. Created in 2018, …and falling, fulling blooming is a three-channel video installation with sound. The work appeared across three successive exhibitions: RITUALS, 20 May–4 June; CONSCIOUSNESS, 19 June–3 July; and VISIONS, 17–31 July 2026.
September 2026 — Release — Stephen W Tayler — Stephen W Tayler has created new stereo, 5.1 Surround Sound and Dolby Atmos mixes of Tina Turner’s landmark album, Private Dancer, for a new Blu-ray edition to be released on 25 September 2026. The project brings Stephen back to an album he first worked on more than forty years ago. He recorded and mixed the original recordings of “I Might Have Been Queen” and “Better Be Good To Me” in 1984. For the new edition, Stephen has remixed the complete album in stereo, 5.1 and Dolby Atmos, and has also created instrumental versions of the entire record in all three formats. The new mixes are accompanied by the original 1984 stereo mix, bonus tracks and promotional films. The Blu-ray will be released by SDE Records as No. 67 in the SDE Surround Series.
November 2025 — Update — Chimera Arts — 2025 Update: Sadia has authored a paper on the relationship between ‘inner voice’ and spatial audio, employing her thirty-channel audio installation ‘Notes to an Unknown Lover’ as source material in combination with research undertaken in Red Room at Real World. She collaborated with Professor Claus-Christian Carbon and joined his EPAEG [Ergonomics, Psychological Æsthetics and Gestaltung] Research Group.
February - September 2026 — MIXING · SPATIAL AUDIO — STEPHEN W TAYLER — In February, Stephen's new stereo and 5.1 surround mixes of Hawkwind’s 1970 debut album were released in an expanded edition on Esoteric Recordings. Eve Polycarpou’s Not in a Million Years, mixed by Stephen at The Light Room, followed in April. In June, Stephen's new stereo, 5.1 and Dolby Atmos mixes of Chris Squire’s Fish Out of Water were released as part of the 50th Anniversary Remix Edition. Todd Rundgren’s Live at the Ritz, New York City 1989, newly mixed from the original multitrack recordings, will be released in September.
